On one of my previous posts asking about a problem, many people came to my aid, so for those who chipped in with suggestions - A BIG THANKS!!!!
After looking at what every1 has said I have decided to check a few things this Saturday so I can hopefully start to appreciate the car again and allow it to be driven properly again!!! So.....
Please could some1 now tell me how long they expect this to take me to clean the control solenoid, check boost hoses, clean T-pipe etc. If it helps I have access to ramps etc
Also if any1 has any pics or a link to help me that would be most appreciated!!
Also may as well check actuator etc as some1 suggested whilst I'm messing / cleaning. so again links pics etc would be appreciated!!
Thanks every1 for all their help!

re cleaning solenoid
You can find it located on the driverside suspension strut area of the engine bay. It is about 3" long cylinder, gold in colour, it will have pipes coming off it from turbo and to actuator, as yours is only 2 port.
If you take the pipes off it (note the way round they go) and plug the two green connectors together under the dash, then spray carb cleaner in the top hole on the solenoid.
The two green connectors are under the steering colum and when plugged together make the solenoid go through an opening and closing test sequence, spraying the carb cleaner in the solenoid while it goes through it's sequence will get it nice and clean.

Soz mate, thought i'd posted it on this board as well!!
IT seemed to go ok. Cleaned the boost solenoid and the t-pipe and all the boost pipes linked, although none of them were clogged by oil etc.
Took it for a run let it warm up etc and then sheepishly put my foot down a bit! All seemed well so got abit more daring and put my foot down and left it there! Again everything ok!! Thank ****!!
Then finally nailed it out of a junction (60mph road!!!) through to third. My mate sat next to me was speechless so I think it must be running ok!!!!
Had no probs since!!! Thanks for asking!!
