o.k - I have a MY93 WRX and am wanting to know whether I could fit a slightly newer ECU without any problems ?? I believe mine is the 240ps but if I were to fit a 260ps would this be a recipe for disaster ? I believe the boost controlled by the Ecu increased too ?

Has anyone tried this ?

Any advice very welcome.

you could do, but why not just get a scoobyecu module and have a better fuel map too?

Yes have thought about that but I understand that a ScoobyEcu needs soldering onto main ECU board etc etc ? Not too good at this myself to be honest so best option for me was to purchase a newer ECU - just wasn't sure whether I could fit it without any problems i.e the connections and wires are the same for both ECU's.
