Low boost problem sorted by Jap Innovations

Had a post a couple of weeks ago regarding MY97 only getting up to 7-8psi full boost.
Well took it down to Jap Innovations in Oldham to get it checked out as well as get the knock & lambda link fitted. Have to say excellent service and very friendly and helpful.
The problem was that one of the previous owners of the car had a dawes device fitted, when he took it off he did not put back the pipe with the restrictor in just a normal straight through pipe so it was not building any boost. David tried one of another car and was peaking on full boost at 1.1bar!!. Although this was not the correct pipe for my97 car we had found the problem, got my pipe on order now cant wait.
