Hi have just reserved an WRX STi? 1994.
I want to confirm it being an STi before putting it in ads.
1. It has sti seats/spoiler
2. STi intercooler water spray
3. Sti badges near side repeaters.
4. Sti plate inside engine bay.

But,
No red engine
No front sti spoiler

Any help, would be great

Yep sounds like a Sti v1
If you could confirm the engine code then you could look up www.sidc.co.uk/faq.htm and check it there

Early STI's did not have the red crackle finish on the inlet manifolds!
It should have alumimium front suspension arms as all STI's have these and it might have a STI(pink) cover on the ECU.

Sounds like an STI version 1. Whats the number on the engine plate under the bonnet on the driver's side. They made a run of 100 and then another of 200. Should also have a strut brace in the front.

I thought the Version 1's were 100 in number and the Version 2's were 200?

Or are they all Version 1's released in 2 "Limited" batches???

Yes version 1's there was a 100run and a 200 run of them..

Yes there were two runs of V1. Mine is 197/200. It is a rare car of course and I think it will be a real classic eventually. They go well too.
