boost gauges

what wires and connections do i need to fit this as i have just bought one of a bloke and only got the gauge sounds silly but i no nothing about gauges and only need it to set up the dawes device.

If it's a mechanical gauge, then the only thing you need is the piece of vacuum tubing that connects to your manifold.

The only other wires are just for illumination.

what MY do you have? I can show you pics of my MY99 install if you need any help.

Before I fitted mine into my a-pillar pod, I just plugged one end of a big long piece of vacuum hose (3mm bore) into the manifold, ran a it under the bonnet and through the window. I connected the other end to the boost gauge and got someone to watch the boost/vacuum as I drove the car.

You only need to do that when setting up the Dawes.

its a 97 old interior and phase 1 engine
