Hi All
I ask in the interior forum where to connect my boost gauge pipe.
As I did not get a response I have connected it up as below....

IS THIS OK for the connection? Also my Gauge is reading -15ish psi on tickover.... (thats minus 15ish psi)

The gauge and A pillar single pod are Nomad racing products

Cool

Pete, just checked. Mines tee'ed in to the pipe coming off the manifold about 15mm to the right of the throttle cable (dealer fit). I guess they should both work the same. Mines displays 0.5 on tick over and increases slightly with revs then drops back. Yours sounds okay to me.
Nigel.

whilst the car is idling its in vacuum, hence the -15psi, even revving the engine it will still be reading vacuum, once you start moving and come onto boost then it will go into the + (boost). just under 15 psi is equal to 1 bar of boost, by having a boost gauge you can also save on fuel, if your running boost you are using more fuel than if you were running off boost, i save loads on motorway runs just by keeping below the zero whilst cruising at 70 (ish) officer. cheers nomad
