I've tried using the ubiquitous SEARCH function but didn't find anything useful.

There are a number of computer (PC) system digital LCD thermometers and fan controllers out there. Has anyone patched one into their Impreza to monitor inlet air temps pre/post turbo and post i/c?

Cool

I fitted a charge air temp sensor to my scoob about a year ago,it was a ford item that a friend had fitted to his RS turbo. It fits into the inlet manifold through one of the vacume holes,it gave me a good comparison between the standard intercooler and the front mount i fitted .

The probe thingies with any PC type kits I've seen are meant to stick to something solid. I like the idea of bunging one on the outside of the i/c and starting up a couple of 100cfm+ fans if the temperature rises.

There's a company in Wales doing something for about £25 including two fans (v weedy it has to be said). Nothing to stop one from relaying something useful though... I do like the the 120x120x38 Delta, Sunon etc fans.
