Just wondered what the size of the fuel tanks are on these.
Mine appears to be 50 litre, is that the norm ??

Fuel consumption seems too good. 240 miles on 3/4 of a tank.
Not running to lean am i. Although not really pushing it.

using optimax with millers.

Early wrx's were indeed a 50 litre capacity pre 97.

240 seems good on a full tank, let alone 3/4.

Cheers Spoon
I must be driving like me old grandad then.
But to be on the safe side will continue to do so, until my knock and lambda links are installed.

MY93 WRX's are 50 litres although on empty I can usually only get 45 in - perhaps not running as low as the gauge suggests

woh, this is strange...I managed to get 54 litres in my MY93WRX (240 miles ish) and the other day I put just over 56 litres in MYWRX and always get above 260miles... ! There's a *lot* of fuel left past the empty line you know...lasts ages if you don't cane it.

Interesting that Excesspeed, I have always been too "Chicken" to let it run out completely (same car as yours) and never had to put more than 48 Ltrs in it. Looks like I have been getting "Twitched" too early.
