Hi all,
I have a question on my MY94 WRX. The coolant top up pot (right hand side with yellow lid) has a thin hose coming off the top. On mine its not connected to anything, and open to atmosphere.
I would have thought it would be a pressurised system, thus connected up somewhere?
I had a look everywhere, but there's nothing obvious for it to connect to.
Advice please!

On "most people's", it passes through a hole in the side of the wing, and discharges into the bumper liner. It's an overflow, and not supposed to be connected to anything.

Mark,
it is a pressurised system, but not at that point, the pressurised bit ends at the header tank, to the left of the engine, from then on, it's just there to check level, and for the system to take a little in if it needs it!
Ron.
