Hi Rich, was considering them to be honest, still trying to decide the best clutch to get really, dont want anything overboard, just something that will take 30000 miles of average stick, any recommendations??

Andy,

Speak to the guys at Jap Innovations, they are really helpfull and will talk everything through with you. I went there the other week for 4 wheel alignment and ended up staying half the night just talking scoobies! They seem to know their stuff.....plus I was taken out in their 350 bhp monster (what a treat!). If you need their number email me.
Ian.

Triple.... which garage forgot to tighten the nut?

I had my clutch change by Jap Innovations a while ago. Couldn't fault the work apart from the grounding wire from the gearbox casing to the fire wall was snapped off and not put back. Apart from that fine. At the time i was strapped for cash so went for the EBC clutch..... absolute bag of ****e! In the time the clutch has been in (8500 miles) it's run no more than 290 bhp (currently quite a bit less) and it's slipping already. Most of the miles have been on the mororway too . Get something decent like an AP (which Jap can get).... looks like they may be doing mine again soon .

Rich.... thought you already had a decent clutch (AP)?

Tony.

Tone loc, triple had is done at a local supposed clutch specialist in preston (A1 transmissions or something like that).

I dont know oldham very well at all,
is it an easy place to get to jap inn??
EBC clutches, yeah looked at them & thought of my motorbike days, so i will take your advice TL on that one,

Hi Tone,

Yeah, got an AP already in the white one. But the green was still on the OEM one. 344bhp soon got the better of it though so there's an AP in that one now too.

Andy,

EBC clutch is ok on a standard car or one with just filter and exhaust, but much beyond that, you need something like an AP really.

Cheers
Rich
