Hi,
I'm new to Scoobynet and Imprezas but really impressed with both, brilliant car and brilliant forum. I've an MY97 STI of less than a week and its speedo is giving a noticeably slow reading. 27 read is 30 actual, 50 is just over 60act. And 60 is about 75 act, and so it goes on.
The speedo is, I imagine the original Jap with an MPH sticker (it goes up to 180 which, if it were KM/hr would equate to 112 MPH). It's a cable drive with what may be a converter gear about mid way by the bulkhead.
Any suggestions as to where the problem may lie, as well as where I can source a replacement, would be greatly appreciated as I drive in fear of my licence.
TIA
Gerry
