Help: Knocklink connector

Hi,
I've just got myself a Knocklink monitor from Jap Innovation (thanks guys), but the wiring loom running from the Knock display down to the Bosch knock sensor has no connector.
I sourced the Bosch sensor seperately and this has a 2-pin male connector.
For those that bought the display and sensor as a package, did you receive all the necessary connectors?????
Any ideas where I can source the connector for the Bosch sensor ????
Stefan

Bosch P/N: 1 287 013 003 - Jetronic Connector Kit.
List price is about £8, should be able to order one from any auto electrical outlet.
I know Teesside AutoTech will post most Bosch parts and off a flat 10% discount. (info@teesideautotech).

Just like to say thanks to Andrew for his recommendation and inforamtion and Eddie @ Teeside AutoTech for supplying the connector kit for my Knocklink sensor.
I paid £7.50+VAT + £1.50 delivery and they even had them in stock

Yeah, I'm none the wiser either as I can't get my multimeter to beep at all regardless which terminal I connect too and where on the bosch sensor I make the other contact (metal bits, of course).

Apparently, it doesn't matter which way they go around as neither of the terminals are earthed to the outside of the sensor.
You can check yourself on these threads

Apparently, the bolt you need to fit the new sensor is an M8x30mm.

So do none of the knocklinks come with a connector? I was under the impression it was included with the loom... seems a bit silly cos it would be nigh on impossible to connect otherwise

Hi Paul,
AFAIK, if you order the Knocklink + the sensor as a package, you get the connector. Or if you buy the sensor from one of the main Knocklink suppliers, you get the connector too. I don't think you get it with the loom coz you could connect the knocklink to lots of different sensors, so they leave it up to you to get the right one.
I bought my Knocklink from Jap Innovations for £74 inc. VAT and the Bosch sensor was sourced for £30 from a standard auto electrical store.
The connector is only a tenner, so why folk charge £65+ for the sensor and connector is beyond me well other than too make £25 out of it

Grant,
The Knocklink comes in a sealed bag from Link Systems in Oz. So, if you just buy the knocklink, then yes you'll not get the connector.
I think suppliers will sell you the connector along with the sensor.
The connector I've spoken of is for the optional Bosch sensor and not the OEM one - I've no idea what connector is on that.

Scratch can you get me a cheap Bosch sensor connector? Already have the sensor which I've fitted to the block and I'm going to add the knocklink soon.
Cheers.
Cheers.
