22mm spanner, wait for the zorst to get cool.
Possible pitfall is stripping the thread of the boss or so Ive read, don't know anyone who has though.
Subaru genuine part is £115 (I know I bought one, it wasn't the fault!) Sell you my old one if you like £30
The part no. is 22690AA321
Personally if I ever have to change this again I will buy a Lucas one at £47 and put the scoobie plug on it or use bullet connectors

The boss on mine stripped, but I didn't let it cool down properly Anyway, it was an excuse to get a decat downpipe
It's easy enough, although a bit of a barsteward for access and you may scrape a knuckle or two.
Just make sure the zorst is very cool and spray the thread with plenty of WD40 and you should be fine.

I got mine from Halfords for 25 quid as a temporary measure till I get an official Subaru one, as I know the Halfords one wont last that long
mine came out very very easy, one very short turn on the spanner, then fingers to unscrew the rest of it, been on the car 3 years too
