Question

Coming to the end of my warranty soon and was wondering if there was any benefit in changing my PPP ecu for a tek 3 (MY00 PPP with D/pipe),and if so where is the best place to have it done.
thanks
M

I would suggest not bothering as you've extracted a lot of the gains available on your turbo already by using the exhaust and PPP. If you didn't have the PPP ECU already it would be a different matter.

You can get a small extra gain over the PPP with custom mapping, but I would suggest to change it only if you want to shoot for 300+ BHP and a new turbo, fuel pump, regulator, knocklink, boost gauge, full exhaust etc.

Thanks for the reply John, what sort of cost are we talking to make the next step as i plan to keep the car for at least another 12 months with the re-sale values being low at the minute.

To preserve resale value of the car keep it as it is.
