Water spray going mad
#1
My automatic water spray only used to engage when the car had took some stick. Now it does sprays when ever it wants. Even when the engine is cold, i.e. 30 secs after starting. It is also very frequent, going through a full bottle in a day or 2.
Anyone got any ideas how to remedy this?
Thanks

Is it doing it when idling then?
I've really noticed mine drinks water almost as much as it does fuel, this is the 1st summer I've had the car.
Surprised me how quickly the water is used though.

yeah, it does it all the time.
Strange thing is, it can't be anything to do with the summer or engine heat. Sometimes it does it when the engine is completly cold. e.g. not being used for 24 hours and then spraying within the first 20 seconds of turning the engine on.

It should operate automatically when the engine reaches about 8 psi boost I think. Maybe there is a problem with your pressure sensor. Only way to tell normally is when the water level goes down when you have not been using it manually.
