I am trying to remove mine from the downpipe. Have managed to get it out of the downpipe, several burns on the hand, but oh well next time wait longer for it to cool down.. anyway, I cannot for the life of be disconnect the white connector. I have tried pushing in the switch that I thought would release it, but it doesn't. Any suggestions??

 

I think you may have to lift the catch by sliding a thin bladed screw driver in between the 2 halves.

The little catch does not push in it pulls out.
