Well iv'e dropped of me motor this morning in the dealer to sort out my eratic idle MY00 DBM. I have replaced it with the original AE802 from the AE801 to save any hasstle if the happend to find out it was there and to stop them using any excuse not to have it done under warranty. Hopefully will get it back tommorrow and can put back the AE801 and have the problem sorted.
I just hope no problems crop up before the weekend and i do get it back coz i don't wanna miss the NBO.
Fingers crossed.
James.

Hi Scoobyfella
Name and shame like you have, they are trying to rip you off, just some advise about the MAF's, the ECU seems to learn around the MAF failing, not sure how it does this yet, so this means you could run lean at WOT without knowing, as the MAF fails the ECU tries to compensate but then runs out of it's operating window. I reset the ECU and then found the erratic idle.
