Hi everyone, quick question for you....
May be looking for a tow bar for the Scoob.I've given up trying to convince the wife we need a two seater sports car for the summer, so may buy a jetski. Was wondering if people know of any alternative to the official Subaru one, cost wise etc.
Any thoughts would be appriciated. Also, if anyone has any ideas where you can use one a reasonable distance from me(I'm right by Lakeside).
Cheers,Scotty

Have you tried Towsure. £94.95 for the classic & £113.50 for the currant model.

Thumbs up

I got a Witter one fitted for £140, and did the electrics myself for £49 with the Subaru electrics kit. Dead easy, and took all of 30 minutes. Ring around fitting centres for decent "fitted" prices.

The electric plug and the socket for the tow bar will probably still be visible... Where can I see more info on this law suit?

The Witter ones as stated are about £100 - £140, if you want a removable towball one then you need to buy a Subaru, Bosal or Brinks one. These tend to be around/over the £300 mark not including fitting. I think (but am not 100% sure) that the Subaru one is bought from Bosal. I was about to buy a Bosal one when I got lucky and found one on ebay which was as good as new and a £80 bid secured it, so you may get lucky looking second hand. A bit fiddly to fit but if you are a competent DIYer then a few hours of effort should see it fitted. If you trust them, independent garages would normally charge £50 - £90 to fit them.
