Hi,

I've a scoobyecu but there isn't a socket on the motherboard to plug it into, anyone know where I can get one fitted. I'm in South Cheshire?

Thanks,
DAve

Sounds like you need an eprom adapter fitted, contact David Wallis or Scot Taylor on this site for advice or look in the search function under DIY ECU.

Contact the person who supplied it mate, none of em bite and can let you know exactly what to do.
Another thing to do if you can... Take a picture of the ecu internals and post it, it is hard to advise without knowing what your specific board looks like.

It sounds like your ecu hasn't got the 28pin adapter socket soldered to the mainboard. I presume your scoobyecu is the same as the one on www.scoobyecu.co.uk ? Also if you look at the fitting instructions it shows the additional 28pin socket with clear tape over it, has yours got this or just a space where it should be?
