Wheel alignment or warped disks could be the problem? Got much meat left in them?

I replaced my front pads, but my rears could do with changing too now, my front disks have a lip around the outer edge of them, so I definatly need new ones

ST - Some people say that certain pads with certain disks will warp them under heavy breaking due to the temperature the pads run at but that's from other peoples experience. What pads & disks are you running?

Sonic - A small lip around the edge is quite normal but just not too muchof a lip I let my old two-pot disks get cracks in them before I replaced them (Not advised )

I had this problem, turned out that ALL of my disks were cracked.

I'd get them checked ASAP

Just a thought, disks are probably warped but does anybody else take note of the handbook and apply the handbrake rather than keeping the brake peddle depressed when coming to a stop?

I used to have warped disks on my 'scort turbo all the time but when I got my Scooby I changed my braking technique. The above allows the heat to dissapate, keeping your foot on the brake traps the heat and makes it more likely to warp. Anybody else do this?

i had the same problem so i changed the front disc and pads to black diamond ones (rears have loads of life left in them) and had the wheel alignment etc checked and adjusted as needed but it still judders quite badly when i brake hard from speed. i think i'll have to give up and live with it till i get 4 or 6 pots!

I think there just the standard WRX pads, ive been advised to ave a complete brake conversion to TAR.OX brakes £600 for the lot.Does that sound like a good deal?
