Cool

Whatever you decide to do, still try & get a new one from K&N - you can always sell it on if you want to try something different
I had same problem on my Clio, but after a day! They replaced it even thought they reconed I'd over tightened it. It is supposed to have a million mile/lifetime warranty, so use it

Induction kits for the scoob do little to improve there performance.
The sccob turbo & lump pump out a hell of a heat, Your induction kit is sucking in warm air, Which defeats the purpose.

The objective is to compress air, the colder the better, save your dosh and buy a panel fillter.

or build a box around your induction kit, and feed it with air from one of you bonnet vents.

Stick with the K&N induction kit, just make sure you get plently of cold air to it fed via pipes from the front of the car.A cold air box is good, but takes up space, if you've get enough cold air pipes it doesnt really matter.

Avoid HKS and Blitz kits, filtration is crap.APEXi make a very good filter, but its difficult to get hold of one, mines been on back order two weeks now.

What you want is a Larry Ganz GanzFlow Cold Air Intake. These are the only intakes worth bothering with.

Well the KN panel filter has been in 3 Days now and to be honest! I was a little suprised................
The car feels a lot more responsive at lower revs when i put my foot down as with the 57i it was very hesitant and lumpy?
The car just feels and sounds a lot better with the KN panel filter in,Even the Mrs says it feels a lot smoother snd faster!!!
When i get a mini scoop from skcl i will pop the 57i back on and see if there is any improvement with all that extra cool air coming in through the scoop.

Alright,
My scoob is a MY00 and I have heard that the induction kit can be bad news for them but I didn't think about just a filter. Any opinions on either would be great.

Cheers

Jake

No not got one, came across them when in the States. They are the only true cold air intake I have seen. I will be contacting them when the run in period is over for my 03 to see if they are available for the new model.

I have read plenty of reviews and there is very little difference between them. The K&N in most cases causes less air disturbance than most which help protect your air flow meter.
