No Lights on Knocklink????
#1
I have wired up my KL and the sensor. The sensor still needs to be bolted on the engine block.
Should any lights light up with the ingition ON, but the engine not running?
For example with the ingnition ON, my A/F and Defi gauge light up. Is the same suppose to happen with the KL?
Current Wiring:
Black - Ground
Red - Switched ignition. This was taken behind the fog light (Purple with silver dash wire). My other gauges have are taken from the same place.
Brown/Black - Connected to the Bosch Sensor.
Any suggestion appreciated and it will save me un-screwing the dash again.

You should get a very very faint green first light with ignition. You will also have this faint light on constantly with the engine running. It will light up brighter if the sensor picks up some normal engine noise.
I don't think the sensor needs to be connected to get that first faint light on, but it may.
Cheers,
Wrexy.

fitted mine last week.
you Will get a dim green light (first led) with ignition on.
this is to confirm that the Knocklink has power to it, otherwise it could be not working and you'd never know and presume that the lack of lights meant no knock !
