"Water running noise" during warm up
#1
Not sure what's wrong recently, but I hear some strange noises on the car lately First I hear like a "gong" sound when the engine is cooling down (small hammer on a tiny gong as someone describes it earlier) every 10 seconds, this morning when driving to office, I could swear I heard like a water running/burbling sound coming from the engine compartiment.
It sounded like a mix of cooking water and pouring small amounts of water into a metal bucket...something wrong with my cooling system?
Could there be a leak somewhere or is my thermostat on it's way out?
Or do I have like air in the coolingcircuit?
What's the remedy? My remedy is usually turn the ICE player volume up as these sounds make me nervous...

Its the coolant (water) sloshing/flowing thru the climate control heater matrix.
I pretty sure its that, because I had mine disconnected and the water sound has disappeared.
You don't need a heater in the tropics.
