Question

Car misfires on idle. This gradually goes away on revs.

If it is lambda, is it ok to run till I get replacement?

Does it do it as soon as the car is started from cold?

If it does, then it's NOT the lambda, as it does nothing at all until the engine is warm.

What car do you have? I'm surprised it would cause a mis-fire.

When mine failed on my MY99 UK, it just ran very rich and wasted slightly more fuel until I 'convinced' the Dealer it was actually faulty.

It would be worth asking John Banks (Dunfermline) if he could check your car on DeltaDash for you. That way you'll know if it's the O2 sensor (or not).
