I have an MY98 turbo and on the inside of the petrol flap there is a sticker that says super unleaded only. Is this the norm as a friends MY99 has no sticker .Does this mean I should be using super unleaded all the time. The car is a uk car.

Normal unleaded is ok according to Subaru, but it is better to use super imho.

 

Yeah i have an MY00, and it says the same inside the flap, they say the ECU can cope with running NUL, not sure about with a full decat, but the sticker is there for a reason IMO.
