Unhappy

This has now happened twice now!
The scene
Driving along (really booting it through gears almost up to red line> down the bypass i slow down, hard on the breaks, go round roundabout, floor it again, then it felt like the car temporary cuts out (looses power).i ease of accelerator and car is still running.
any ideas??
Its not turbo lag as ive had the car 4 years i know the difference and allways pushed it, and there is a significant but short cut out .

Just read Riskys post and seems similar and his name is Roy also spooky!
MY rb5 had nearly empty tank both times so i hope it was that also both times on a right hand bend.

When it cuts out does it feel like you've hit the brakes hard as well? If so it's overboost and the ECU is cutting the fuel for safety.

Cheers,

Wrexy.

Are you running a boost controller, of some type, including a Dawes, or do you just have the stock ECU?

Cheers,

Wrexy.

What is the fuel level? If its about 1/4 of a tank or less then its fuel surge IMHO

Yep I got that from high speed u-turns, I have some plans for a surge tank if anyone is interested, stops this from happening.
