Further to my cries for help about losing boost pressure. Found that the circlip that holds the wastegate actuator arm to the wastegate had gone AWOL and arm had become disconnected. Which is probably why all my efforts cleaning solenoids and doing ECU resets had no effect... Now back to 0.95 bar at 3000 rpm which I believe is what I should have.
