just wondering if you can fit a later engine into an older car?
say a 2000 engine into a 93?
and does it matter about one being an import?

cheers

You will struggle a little with the wiring connections as they are different between the two engines.

I have a STi 3 sedan engine, box and STi 6 coupe diff installed into my '93 WRX RA.... use as much of your cars wiring and coil setup as poss and there are only a few wires that need modding TPS etc... Possums' workshop did the job.... you could email them for specific wiring help !

Cheers, Mark.
