Lo there. 1st post

I'm thinking of getting myself an Impreza 2.0 Sport pretty soon, but wondered what I should be looking out for.
Will probably looking at spending up to about 4k, so from the looks of AutoTrader and the like that would put me somewhere around 1997ish P/R Reg, and don't really want to go above 60-80k miles.

So is there anything in particular I should keep an eye out for? Any common problems?

you'll probably get a 97 for >4k at 80k miles, maybe say 3,500
Depends if its private or dealer really.

Manners

Piston slap, water in the boot (spare wheel well), scratched front windows, stone chips and panel dents (dont view when wet) are a few that spring to mind.
