Where do I attach it to ?
#1
Just brought a new fuel regulator for my STi7 from Mark (Lateral Performance) and was wondering if anyone has yet fiited one of these to their car, where did you attach it to ?
Not much room under there for anything else.A picture would be a great help.
Cheers

is it an FSE item?
if so the one your are looking for is about a quarter of the size of it.
on my WRX it is located near the end of the fuel rail, on the left hand side of the engine, i had to remove my induction kit to get at it, make sure the engine is cold too as its quite close to the turbo...
hope it helps a little
all the best

Jay,
is that on the left hand side of the engine as you look at it?
Is there anybody out there who has really detailed instructions for fitting of the FSE regulator and a walbro uprated fuel pump? I'm a novice when it comes to engines so could do with the idiots guide.
I just cant find time to leave my car in at a garage and here i am on a Sunday afternoon with a Walbro fuel pump + regulator and nothing to do. AArrrgghh!
thanks people

on the clasic there is a 10mm threaded mountinh hole on the main inner wing, so i just mounted mine there, i used the included aluminium plate and just shaped it to fit.....works a treat....
sorry should have read the post with more attention.....lol
yer its as you look at it, you wiill have to remove the air box, and use the adapter plate you get with the FSE item, but if its like mine you'll find that the included bolts are to damn short......
all the best
jay
ps, aint your throtle response a hell of alot quicker now.....lol

Grant, that would be most appreciated.
This really cant be hard to fit?!
I just need to identify the components of my engine. At the moment, i'm down to guessing that there are two fuel rails??? and on each rail, you can find two pairs of injectors??
I can just see mechanics reading through the threads over a cup of tea and then reaing this and spitting their tea over the screen with laughter.
Your pics will undoubtedly be different as mine is a 93 wrx but just to get an idea of what a fuel rail looks like and what the old regulato looks like should put me on the path to DIY glory
Thanks in advance
