And to be honest I am not sure of the answer.
The question being is it ok to run Octaine booster in a car that still has the front cat in.
I'm sure I remember seeing a post ages ago on this but can't find it.

The stuff I found in town here, said it was Ok for cars with cats. It should tell you on the bottle. If it doesn't, don'y buy. better safe than sorry!

Is there any brand that is particularly recommended and what are the benefits please - I guess sharper responsivemess?
