Cool

How would a correctly fitted ecu "blow" a coilpack?

I could understand new boost higher levels highlighting regular wear and tear on a set of coilpacks, where the coils have degraded to the point that they cannot push a spark across the gap in the higher boost mix. These missfires can be temporarily eased off by reducing plug gaps... if doing so reduces such missfires, then it suggests that the coilpacks have seen better days.

moray has sort of said what i was going to say, its more likely that the coilpacks were faulty and the powerfc highlighted this problem..

Obviously if there is a problem your warranty on either the ecu or coilpacks will cover any further problems.
