Question

Does anyone know of a way to rig up all of the windows to act like the drivers window(ie,auto up auto down),maybe linking the 'signal' from the drivers switch to operate the others at the same time,(without having to buy a seperate interface for each window as this is a pretty expensive option)i know some alarms have this facility if that's of any help...

I can't help on that one Matty, but seeing your post reminded me that the "auto" bit does not work at all on my car-just straight window up and down. Have you or anyone any idea what I need to do to fix it please.

do you know the place?

My last scoob didnt have aircon either, however new scoob is just like an icecream truck! (without the "cool" tunes and icecream....anyone for a lolly?)...... (bit more stylish too)

There is a kit from Subaru (I'm at the office now else I could give you the part #) from the original Japanese Subaru catalogue.

With this kit all windows will be Auto, but I just remember this kit being quite expensive and definitively not worth it.

Matty unfortunately you cannot link all of the windows together as the windows have a shut off when the close,
This would mean that if one window closes before the others, the others will stay open slightly..

Rob

I would have though that it would be easyish to run a relay for each window.

Tweenierob, that figures,it's probably the reason that a seperate interface is needed for each window(or so i've been told)
Matty.
