Mods please feel free to move to the correct section.

I have a Momo air race gear **** in the garage that was fitted to my MGF by the dealer.
I therefore don't have the correct sleeve to put on the scoob.
The sleeve I do have however is smaller than the thread of the scoobs gear lever.
My question is what is the thread on a MY99 gear lever ?
I have access to somebody how will lend me the correct thread cutter but its to much hassle to take the car to him to find out which cutter I'll need.

If it's the same as a classic, and it probably is, it's M12, fine.

Edited to add tap was a M12 Fine (M12 x 1.25)
