Just a quick q , i am soon to be getting my MY97 Catalunya , i am interested in the SECS moniter.

I was wondering how the dash pod fits on the dash (above the heater vents) , is it fixed there by adhesive or is there a specific space for it, i am puzzled as there seems to be no sort of space for the pod.

Hope you understand what im rambling about.

Thanks
Brett

I think you will find that the dash fixing you are thinking of is the 98+ dash. Cat still has the 97 dash with no pocket on top etc..

Not sure if the SECS has been developed for the 97 ecu either..
Not sure though as I have a 96 so know it won't work with it so haven't looked into it.. but I thought the SECS only works with 99+ cars.. someone correct me please if wrong as I only assume this to be the case.

I think they are developing the secs for earlier models but it isn't available yet. As for the pod Dyney has designed a rather good pod for earlier cars which I believe is in production but for 3 60mm gauges. Think it would suit the secs with some modification or if there's enough interest he said there could be a production run. Quite a few units needed though

Thanks for the replies. Well , ill have to wait and see... would really like a SECS unit though instead of dials everywhere.

Doubt it will work with 97 because AFAIK it doesn't work with 98 either. New model due soon (or so I was told) to work with the older type ECU so I'll just keep waiting.
