Apart from Power Engineering is there any other companies out there that can remap a MY96 car ?
Any company names or phone numbers would be appreciated.

why are you keen to avoid Power Engineering? - I was thinking of getting a remap done there myself. Fellow MY96 owner

The site for Scoobyecu is www.scoobyecu.co.uk and there is some documentation on the product at www.scoobyecu.co.uk/uploads/Install%20Instructions.doc

I haven't tried it yet, but I'm also tempted

Check out the ad in scoobyshop, I have one of these, just got 254bhp 233 lb/ft on the rolling road. Not bad for £60!! other mods: filter and full decat. Mail me if you want any more info.

Dont you have to map the scoobyecu yourself.

Power engineering are expensive! Wible just took his 95 there and they said it would be about £300. They then put it on the rolling road twice (which i thought was included in a remap anyway) and charged vat and his bill came to just over £600!!!!

He got good results so is happy with the bhp and torque but be prepared to get stung

It says in the advert that the map was provided by "a well known tuning firm" Does anyone know which firm this was?

It comes with a map pre-programmed which you can choose, depending on your needs, or it can be customised.

I have got the 16psi boost option, this is similar to a Prodrive map, which in turn was based on the 95WRX map.

Takes about 20 mins to fit!

Wink

I've got one of these in my MY95 UK running 15.5 psi on the map similar to the Prodrive. Now my car is a bit of a rare breed & was running 297BHP & 259lbft torque on just the Scoobymania full system & a K&N induction kit . Since the re-map (only other thing added was a dump valve...no real power gain) it's running at 311BHP & 262lbft torque. It may not seem like a major power increase but the boost kicks in a lot sooner & my god is it quicker!!! I can take WRX's, P1's & STI's

Just ask a few of the Sussex lot about how mental my car is. All for £700.00 in performance mods

I thought the 13.5psi map was based on the 95wrx? I'll have to give David Wallis a ring again and see what's what.

Yeah but mines 15.5

The Prodrive one is 16psi but I opted for 15.5 as it's a UK car & can be prone to knocking

Standard UK 11.5psi
Prodrive UK ECU 13.6psi
WRX95 ECU 12.7psi
WRX96 STi 13.4psi

MAFFA has one of my Maps which is 15.5psi, along with about 30 other Scoobynetters.....

My Version can be had in 14psi or 15.5psi form, all have different fuel/timing/boost and boost control when compared to the origional maps defined above.

Shame I've stopped doing them tho' as have moved on to an MY00 and am out of stock, see David as I think he has Stock on order.
