Ok, if some people remember I was trying to fix that anoying bug with boost spikes when a catless 3" exhaust is fitted to an STI 7. I removed the turbine and ported the wastegate from 24.5mm to 27mm and it did not help at all. The boost would go up to 1.3 and even beyond that. The EBC did not help at all. So here's my conclusion: the STI 7 has a VF35 turbine, which has a P15 exhaust housing, which is really really really small. The turbo spools up so quickly when decated that the wastegate cannot coupe with it, or it has to be really big, maybe an external one. So, I'm ordering a new Greddy TZ518Z turbine, which has an 8mm (P18) exhaust housing and is a direct bolt on. Holds boost up to 1.2 bar and is not supposed to be too lagy. So I will keep you guys updated if anyone is interested ofcourse.
