Is there any advantage (apart from noise) in fitting the prodrive backbox (as fitted as part of the ppp kit) to the sti7?

I have just fitted a prodrive bb to my sti7,it has a deep burble at idle and a nice growl when acellerating hard, but is not too noisey around town.Initial throttle response is unchanged but when the turbo kicks in the car pulls a little harder than before.
