Check light and maf sensor

Hi,
Done the search and read loads.Go through ford today,500 yds and boot it in 1st car dies and check light apears,limp home,will not allow any boost at all but runs fineish otherwise,idle isn't too bad,did the conections and it shows 23,maf sensor,when doing the test and reset the fan comes on and the boost soleniod is clicking,is this right?
Car is my00 25k no probs before.
