my motor is a uk spec post 1994 gx wagon without heated seats.
as i am getting some heated seats in the near future how big a job will it be to wire them up to work using the loom from a scraper(if i can't find one will an impreza loom be the same?) or will it be easier to patch them into a seperate stand alone system wired from the battery via a timer switch?
any sugestions greatly appreciated

Can't say for definite, but I can cheer you up because my Typer was imported new without heated Recaros. These were subsequently fitted by a main dealer.
So it must be possble as it will only be an earth and an Ignition fed live. The only question is whether th wiring is already there?.
I would be surprised if it was already in mine as its GPN based, but it might be in yours. One place to check is the fusebox to see if the fuse slot has metal contacts behind. Thats always a good sign
