Could anyone advise mw what the picture below shows??
It seems to be inline on the fuel pipe??
What is it and what does it do?? should it be replaced everyso often??

It's a "fuel saver" type device, using a magnet and tin alloy thing to try and improve the fuel before it gets to the engine.
Supposed to increase MPG and performance (a tiny bit).
I have one, mainly because I found it loafing about from a few years ago.
never needs replacing, questionable benefits, but does no harm as far as I know
