Dump Valve double dumping on my MY01 wrx????

as it says , I have a Turbo XS dump valve and it wants to double dump when I take my foot off the gas, is this ok or do I have a problem, ie wrong dump valve or do i need to get anything to control air/fuel or the fuel?
The car is completely decatted if thats any use.
Any help would be great
