Hi all, if i put a full tank of fuel in my tank the gauge registers only to half, never above-this makes it near on imposs to determine how much fuel i have above half a tank!
Any one got any theories and would it be costly to fix?

hi stan
i have a my 95 import
i had the same prob with mine
filled up and it would only read half a tank, but,it went down to a - reading when there was at least 20 litres in the tank.if yours doesnt move youve got probs, imvho.
however, i was doing some work to the dials, thought fug it
took clox out, undid plastic clear cover, and physically moved gauge to read full tank,

it now works.seems if you bang the clox when fitting, say a speedo converter it can screw it up(even done it my self fitting new lamps)
give us a shout if you need some pointers
