Wink

Hi there just looking for some advice where my technical ability is most lacking !!! I have just sold my 95 WRX and replaced her with a gleaming Silver 95 Sti and am very happy unfortunately the Expansion bottle has split around the rim near the cap at the top and coolant leeks out.
I have had a gasket test and that is fine. What do i need to replace? the whole expansion bottle(With the cap, where you add coolant) or more. Does it need to be an STi one or any Impreza or WRX. Thanks for your help

Thanks Care 3. Is the 98 expansion tank a better version that the older ones. You reference to digestive biscuits - is this a common complaint because it split at the top of the tank by the metal rim that goes round it???

98 is a better design, full metal job,but you would have to modify it to fit the bolt holes and youd have to get new coolant hoses as it has diferent inlets and outlets
yes it is a common fault, thats why i changed mine b4 it went,i can sell you my old one if you like
