Yes I know!! I am a blundering oaf!!

Had my Samco hoses (turbo kit) delivered yesterday. It is obvious where 2 of them go, but could do with some piccies of some fitted or some instructions.

Alcazar - if you are out there and have done this, you know your install guides are masterpieces kissy kissy

Any help appreciated as it is far too cold for me to spend hours outside just getting the hump.

 

What MY car is it.

It's very easy. Any chance you can put up a photo of the hoses you've got. It'll make describing them easier.

Is it the 3-piece kit for a UK MY99/00?

If so, should be Y-piece under Intercooler + little fat short one from Manifold (correct?) to Intercooler + Dumpvalve.

Are they the same ones in those pictures? What's the Samco part# - should be TCS143 for a UK MY00 turbo.

If it's these ones, then it's wrong as those are for STI's.

The kit has 4 pieces.

1 short fat and round - connects to the front of the intercooler, I guess. Total diameter 8cm.

1 about a cm longer, smaller diameter also round. 6cm total diameter 6cm length.

1 C shaped, longest and thinnest hose in kit and about 3.5 cm diameter.

1 L shaped, with a slight kink in it, similar diameter to the 2nd hose on list 6cm.

They're the ones.

 

The C-shape one fits the Dumpvalve, the very short thick stubby one is of rthe IC->Manifold. The STI's have a metal Y-piece on the back of the IC, so they only need to two little short ones.

Your UK MY00 needs to replace the Y-Piece completely.

You could use the kit, but you'd need the metal Y-piece from an STI and that'll cost £150 new or slightly cheaper 2nd-hand. They're a bit like rocking horse **** though.

Where did you get the kit from?

TCS 143 is the kit for MY99/00, can't believe how many suppliers are sending the wrong ones

I got it from Rally Design. Have just got off the phone to them and they are sending the correct kit today.
