Peice of Pi55 - the bolts at the front and mid are easilly seen and at the back there are some clips... a bit fiddly but you should get a hang of them.
Weird thing is there is a moveable plate to get at the sump but not one to get at the filter. I suppose you could just do oil only changes if you were really daft
Ids
PS. Wrong forum !!!! try drivetrain next time

Cheers Guys,
for reference :-
Three studs across front, two at rear in middle. Two grey clips on rear edge (either side) and yes are a fiddle. Two push in plastic lug type things at each side (front chassis rail).
All four of these broken - cheers Subaru alarm fitter or 1k service team.

Thanks Andy, I did my oil change yesterday also and took some pictures incase anyone else wanted to do it.
The first two pictures are the four "push" clips that are at each side of the tray. They are a little bit of a fiddle to get out, but you can just pop the centre part out with a screw driver and pull them out. I used the tray to leaver them out.
The next picture is one of the 5 12mm bolts. As Andy said, there are three at the front in the holes and two at the back in the centre.
The next picture is one of the two clips that hold the tray on at the front once all the bolts are removed. Pull this slightly backwards with your fingers in the hole to release.
This picture is one of the two retaining clips at the back of the tray. They are a little bit tricky because it's difficult to get at them. What you need to do is remove a "U-shaped" plastic clip and the tray will drop down.
This picture is the under tray once removed.
The last picture is me taking a nap whilst waiting for the oil to drain out
The whole job only took about an hour and a half and that is including a coffee and a chat.

A couple of questions?
I noticed on my undertray that I have a square hole with rounded corners which has a piece of plastic pot riveted to it and the sprayed black - I thought it has particular to my car (as it looks none factory fitted) but I notice the same thing in the picture of yours?? Any idea what it is?
Secondly, the pull out plastic clips - were any broken on your?
Cheers for the pics

Andy,
Not sure, I tried to line it up under the car to see what was above it, but nothing was I thought it maybe for the sump plug.
No, all my plastic clip were ok. You can buy them from Halfords as I brought some when I fitted my mud flaps
Cheers

3 bolts at front of belly pan, 2 at cross member and 6 expandable clips. a small screw driver takes the centre out safely then they can be refitted. better if the nose of the car is up in the air
