Many thanks Andrew but it looks like the wrong one.
Mine has one big block on the left and two blocks the same size in the middle and right hand side.

What does the label on the ECU case say?
AFAIK all UK/EURO MY97/98 Turbos had 8S ECUs with that pinout, STi V3/4 have the same ECU PCB but slightly different connector pinouts. Connector block should be yellow.

That sounds promising as it does say 8S and they are yellow.
I'll count the pins and test the live to be sure.
It's then just a case of finding a japanese person to tell me what wire does what out the back of the Apexi in time for Sundays rolling road shoot out.

I wonder if this is the one that you are looking for M8.
I ahd a hell of a job trying to source this sertain Pin out diagram so had to for some help as well.
It is the pin out for a 97 with the 3 plug's in yellow.
