What turbo on EUROPEAN MY94-96?

AFAIK the WRX MY94-96 has the Mitsu TD05 turbo, but the european models got a bit smaller unit...
I actually have a MY96 GT myself, just never have got around to check what model's really sittin' there, thought I'd check with you guys first if someone would happen to know... :/

As far as I know, the UK cars also had a TD05, however, there are different sizes of TD05 ( apparently ), but I think from 94 on, they are all the same regardless of UK/WRX

Re: 100% or Methinks, it would be impossible to say 100% what it is, without actually seing it, regardless of model. Who is to say that someone else has never changed the turbo before. There could also be differing models across the world with different models of turbo, but I would be 99% certain its a TD05, if it has then 90deg elbow on the front, which a 96 car would have.

Ok, I just got confused when reading "Subaru Impreza Turbo" by Chris Rees, where it says that they have a IHI Turbo. And also, according to "Training WRX" (I'm into reading now as you san see 
) the td05 should be quite much bigger than the later models IHI, they're even suggesting it doesn't need to be upgraded...
Well, I just need to rip the heatshield off and check what turbo there is to be sure, thanks anyway!
