ECU swap/removal
#2
Can do some pics but it is pretty simple:
1) Remove Plastic Door Trim from Passenger Door.
2) Lift Passenger footwell carpet
3) Remove Passenger footwell plate (10mm bolts & Nuts).
4) Remoce ECU (2 x 10mm Nuts)
5) Disconnect ECU connectors

Good summary Chris
I found presonally that it was easier to remove the conblocs befor removing the ecu, but suppose it depends on how much extra cable there is on the harness.

You don't need to remove the trim; just unscrew the clips holding the carpet down and one of the plastic clips for the trim. This loosens the trim enough to fold the carpet back and give you access to the kickplate.

erm i abit confused
1) Remove Plastic Door Trim from Passenger Door.
why do have to remove a door panel trim when the ecu seems to be under the passengers carpet area ? , do you mean remove the trim that runs below the door on the sill ?
