What to look for when buying a Legacy Turbo

This week I will be looking at a Mk1 Legacy Turbo. What are common problems on these cars? Any catches?

Noisy tappets are the main thing. Other than that, they hold up well. Clutches wear due to 4wd, Gearchange can be bad, although usually a change to Castrol Syntrax will work wonders.
Brakes all round should be checked, as discs can be expensive.
An exhaust can be expensive to replace, but Id reccomend an aftermarket system anyway,as it makes a huge difference to perofmance.
